Whether you are starting out and need the support of a commission based chair, to having your own chair for an affordable monthly rate to your own room, you can grow at Lux. Unlike other salons, your commission clients are yours to keep forever. Not only that but you are in a position to catch overflow from the fully booked stylists every day.
We are here to shake it up. From commission/booth rent/independent contractor/ room rental we have a space for everyone. We want to help you build, help you grow, all within these walls...

Being a hourly stylist through booth rent, Nikki realized our industry needs more competitive wages and more than we receive in the traditional salon model. So Lux offers very competitive commission wages anywhere from 45% to 50% and all commission stylists receive 20% of net retails sales.
Lux also provides, free online booking system, marketing campaigns, free ongoing, in-house education from multiple outside brand and industry specialists. All this to help you book and retain new clientele while also expanding your own knowledge and service offerings. You also have great flexibility in setting your own schedule. We're confident enough to not have a non-compete! In the Lux culture there is no non-compete, your guests are yours and not ours.
And when the time comes to move on, you don't have to leave Lux you can transition to Booth Rent. Our Booth Renters also receive competitive rates but you also continue to receive our integrative marketing, online booking system, retail sales commission of 20% of net, ALL back bar is supplied, and a community of new retail items are always available to use. As well as free education classes, Lux is still a place to learn throughout your career.

Still want more, we have 6 studio rooms with plumbing and cabinetry and your creative vision supported. From massage to nails to skin to your own mini-salon, we are here to help and support you. Build whatever you want to create in your private, professional space. Even with this level of independence you still receive commission on salon retail sales, marketing support, online booking system. After this, talk to Nikki and she'll help you build your own Lux!
